Lotte World is one of the largest indoor amusement parks in the world. It has both indoor and outdoor rides, but it was way too cold out so Ella and I just stayed inside. We arrived at 3 pm and it took us forever to figure out how to get to the entrance. We got lost in the department store and then went to the wrong counter, but we eventually made it to the right entrance. The indoor amusement park has four floors of rides, attractions, and food stalls and every floor looks out over a huge skating rink that sits in the centre of everything. The rides aren't anything crazy because it is indoors, but they are still fun.

BTS filmed an episode of their Run BTS variety series here and they each wore different head bands. Both Ella and I liked the frog ones that Jungkook and Taehyung wore and we thought it would be fun to buy them. We went on several different rides and ate loads of food. We went on the carousel, the dragon shooting game, the big river boat ride (which was our favourite), the spinning teacups, and the swinging boat (I don't know the actual names of the rides haha). Ella really wanted to try the bumper cars and I had done them before so we also tried that. We bought bags of candy, hot dogs, fries, cotton candy, and all sorts of food that my mom definitely would not approve of (sorry mom!).

The lines weren't terrible for the smaller rides, but the wait was so long for the best indoor roller coaster so we skipped it.

The park was so pretty when it started to get dark out and all the lights turned on. There were lots of Christmas decorations and parades and it made for a fun atmosphere.

Ella and I went to a dessert cafe called Dore Dore after wandering around the park for several hours. The cafe is famous for the rainbow cakes that they make. We were able to walk through the department store almost the entire way to the cafe and avoid the cold weather. We did have to go outside briefly to get between two stores. I got distracted by the bright lights and dragged Ella to take pictures with them. It was the fastest we have ever taken pictures before and we both sprinted back to the warm store after.

The cake at Dore Dore looked pretty with all the colours, but it was quite flavourless. We sat in the cafe to finish the cake and then went back home.

Hope everyone is doing well,

Emily
