Today was my last day with Ella *cries*. She is going to London for a week tomorrow and I will be back in Canada before she returns to Korea. We spent the day doing what we do best: going to numerous cafes and collecting coffee sleeves we will never use.

We started the day off at a cafe near Hapjeong station where there were little birthday cupcakes (that were super dry, but at least they looked cute).
Then we walked to Fifty Fifty Cafe where we saw the fan site exhibit a few days ago. Ella is super patient with me when I want to take photos of absolutely everything, which I really appreciate.
We ate lunch at, yes you guessed it, a kimbap place behind the cafe. They had little BTS stand ups near the counter. I'm not sure why they had them, but we both found it funny.
We took the subway down to Gangnam after lunch and stopped at a cafe in an area we had never been to before. It was farther than where the birthday cafes normally are, but the photo cards and decorations were awesome. One of the cards that they gave changed when I tilted it and they had cute stamps of Tae and his dog for each receipt.
We took the subway to Apgujeong station (in Gangnam) and went to a really nice bbq place for our last dinner. It was a bit more expensive than usual, but the meat was amazing so it was worth it!

Our final stop for the night was a cafe that was a 20 minute walk from the restaurant. It was so cold out that we walked ridiculously fast and made it there in record time. The cafe was very aesthetic and there were so many photo cards!
It was sad to say bye to Ella, but we promised to send each other BTS memes every day. We have discussed potentially living together when we are both back in Korea so I know I will be seeing her again. (It's been over two weeks since I left Korea and we still talk every day so the distance really hasn't changed anything). I'm very thankful that we found each other! We've spent the last month exploring so many fun places and I definitely would not have gone to all these cafes by myself.
The worst part about not seeing her for the next two days is that I had to return her coat haha (just kidding). I underestimated how far my place was from the cafe and I decided it would be a smart idea to walk home in the freezing cold with no coat. My face and fingers were so cold by the time I made it home (it took 40 minutes) and I spent a long time wrapped in my blanket trying to warm up. I probably should have planned that better, but I made it and that's all that matters now.
Hope everyone is doing well,
Emily
